This letter is to review my experience with Greg Anderson and recommend him to anyone who is serious about buying or selling real estate in the Detroit Lakes, Minnesota area. I live near Milwaukee, Wisconsin; about 500 miles away from Detroit Lakes.

After listing (12) lakefront lots on Little Cormorant Lake with several other sales/broker agents, since 2009, I was happy to receive an acceptable offer on one of the lots in 2016. It contained a very thorough analysis of this lot and the area market. Greg Anderson had done the analyses. Greg was not working for me at this time. Within days, we had an executed Purchase Agreement. The rest of the deal went forward with no surprises, My first sale since 2009!

I was ready to change agents and based on my impression of his professional involvement on one sale, I gave him a call. To this point, I had sold only one of 12 lots in seven years.

We composed a listing agreement which began in January 2017. From January 2017 through June 2017, we sold and closed all (11) of the remaining lots! Greg worked tirelessly until the last lot was sold.

Here is a list of my thoughts on Greg’s representation:

  1. Work Ethic: Greg is a machine. He communicated with me before 6AM and after midnight, often on the same day. He is tireless and smart.
  2. Knowledge of his Profession: Greg knows the law and he knows the area and he knows many people. He provided a marketing strategy that WORKED.
  3. Integrity: In a word, Uncompromised.
  4. Extra yard: Greg worked “outside the box” many times. He attended Town and County Board Meetings on my behalf. He contacted contractors and arranged necessary work to make the lots ready for sale. He composed and provided Amortization Schedules, Rosters, Contact Information. Greg treated my money as if it were his own. I could fill a page with his extra work. Greg never had his hand out for more money from me.
  5. Communication: Greg was always “on top” of each deal, and so was I because of his communication skills.
  6. Professionalism: Greg was always polite and very accurate. He was always responsive to my input and gave exceptional advice when necessary. His buyers were happy. His seller is happy.
